Jenny's Homemade Chili

Ok, here is my recipe for home made chili.
It's made in one dish, so clean up is a snap!

It's all about what you like.
Feel free to change the recipe to suit your taste.

One Lb Lean Ground Beef (93% fat free is what I use)
Half of a yellow onion
3 cloves of Garlic
2 cans of diced tomatoes
2 TBSP Chili Powder
2 tsp Steak seasoning
2 tsp Oregano
2 tsp Parsley
1 Cup rice

Brown the ground beef in the pot stirring frequently so you don't get huge clumps of cooked burger.

Dice up the Garlic cloves.

Dice up the yellow onion.

Add Onion and Garlic to cooked ground beef.

Cook stirring onion and garlic into meat. (This is where my mouth starts watering uncontrollably.)

Add your seasonings.

Stir well...

Add both cans of diced tomatoes.

Stir, cover and simmer for 20 minutes. Meanwhile, start cooking the rice.

When the rice is done, in about 20 minutes, so is the chili.

Serve over rice, or not...my kids don't like it with rice, I do. :-)

With rice above, without rice below.

Enjoy!!
